Precision Assembly TechnicianLockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Precision Assembly Technician. In this role, you will assemble micro-mechanical and electronic components inside a cleanroom environment, often under a binocular stereo microscope. You will test and inspect assemblies and sensors, solder fine-pitch electronic components, and work from schematics, blueprints, and oral instructions to construct assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components.Basic QualificationsExperience building ultra-precision mechanical assemblies using a binocular stereo microscope and micro-tools.Experience soldering fine-pitch electronic components.Exceptional hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and steady hands for intricate assembly of small components under a microscope.Ability to maintain intense concentration during repetitive, highly detailed tasks.High School diploma or equivalent.Must be a US Citizen.Desired SkillsPrior hands-on background as a watchmaker, jeweler, or similar micro-precision trade.Experience working in an ISO/clean room environment with strict cleanroom protocols (gowning, masking, etc.).IPC J-STD-001 solder certification.Knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge and ESD mitigation principles.Experience using electronics test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.)Computer skills: MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Access.Team player with demonstrated initiative and accountability.Effective interpersonal skills and communication skills.Technical degree in electronics or mechanical related curriculum.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $50300.00 - $93300.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
