# Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** October 19, 2026 **Location:** Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 12-hour shifts; 4 weekend shifts per schedule period; Day shift: 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, 2 CNAs; Night shift: 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, 2 CNAs**Highlights:** - 34-bed Progressive Care Unit with 1:4 patient-to-nurse ratio- Experience with non-titratable drips (amiodarone, Cardizem) and tracheostomy care preferred- May float to Medical/Surgical units as needed- Established unit with 44 staff members providing collaborative team environment- Contract assignment with competitive travel benefits- Royal blue scrubs provided**Requirements:** - Current Texas RN license or compact state license- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required- NIH Stroke Scale certification required- Progressive care or critical care experience strongly preferred- Knowledge of non-titratable drips and tracheostomy management preferred**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This Progressive Care Unit seeks high-performing nurses who display resiliency, accountability, and integrity.
