Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Tennessee**Start Date:** October 19, 2026**Location:** Hermitage, Tennessee**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** Three 12-hour shifts per week; every other weekend requirement; self-scheduling in 4-week blocks; may float between PCU units or to medical-surgical floors as needed**Highlights:**- Progressive care units with 34 and 25 beds respectively, providing advanced monitoring and critical interventions- Patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5 on day shift, 1:5 to 1:6 on night shift with dedicated tech support- Comprehensive patient mix including stroke care, post-cardiac catheterization, peritoneal dialysis, and advanced respiratory support- Experience with BiPAPs, high-flow oxygen, Vapotherm, cardiac drips, heparin and insulin infusions, and wound vac management- Meditech documentation system- High contract extension rate with "care like family" culture and excellent teamwork environment**Requirements:**- Current RN license- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required- Experience with advanced oxygen delivery systems, BiPAPs, and high-flow oxygen therapy- Experience with stroke and post-cardiac catheterization patient care- Familiarity with tube feedings, NG/Dobhoff tubes preferred- Peritoneal dialysis experience preferred- Black scrubs required**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This PCU position offers the chance to work with a collaborative team known for strong retention and high traveler extension rates.
